Bangor Sewerage Improvement Scheme– Public Information Session – 2 March

16 February 2016 16:05

NI Water is currently in the early planning stages of an upgrade on the third phase of a major programme of improvement work to improve the sewerage infrastructure and key pumping stations in the Bangor West area, including the upgrade of Brompton Road and Strickland’s Glen Wastewater Pumping Stations. It is anticipated that the work will get underway in 2017.

We would like to take this opportunity to invite the local community to a ‘drop in’ information session at Grange Primary School, Grange Park, BT20 3QG on Wednesday 2 March from 6.30 – 9pm.

Members of the NI Water project team will be available at the ‘drop in’ session to discuss the scheme in further detail and get as much feedback as possible to feed into the proposals. Everyone is welcome to attend.

NI Water would like to thank the public for their patience and co-operation while this essential work is completed. Once complete, the work will improve the sewerage infrastructure and bathing water quality in the area, ensuring that NI Water continues to meet European and Northern Ireland Environment Agency Standards.

Customer queries regarding this project should be directed to Waterline on 03457 440088, quoting “Bangor Sewerage Improvement Scheme – Information Event”
