Sewer Improvement Work Gets Underway – London Street, L’Derry

NI Water will commence essential Sewer Improvement Work on London Street, L’Derry to improve and upgrade the sewerage infrastructure, representing an investment of approximately £35,500. It is anticipated that Phase 1 of the work will get underway on 15 February 2016 and will continue until 16 March 2016.

The work will involve replacing the existing sewer in London Street. Road Diversions will be in place. Work will finish on 16 March 2016 and the street will be reopened for the St. Patrick’s Day and Easter periods. Any final completion or remedial work, if required, will be completed after the Easter period.

NI Water would like to thank the local traders and community in advance for their patience and cooperation while we complete this essential improvement work. Signage will be in place and we will do everything possible to reduce disruption in the area.
