Localised Water Quality Issue Newry

NI Water staff are dealing with a localised water quality issue in the Ayallogue Road, Carn Road and Green Road, Newry.  Teams carried out a flushing exercise during Wednesday evening and into Thursday to clear the system and will continue to flush the system throughout today.  Staff have visited the properties affected and provided bottled water where necessary.  Samples of the water have been taken for analysis and further investigation is ongoing to determine the source of the problem.
