WaterAid volunteers seek to 'Change the Record' at Sunflower Fest

WaterAid volunteers will be attending this year's Sunflower Fest to promote the charity's 'Change the Record' campaign.

'Change the Record' is WaterAid's latest campaign aimed at transforming the lives of girls around the world by providing access to taps and and toilets for everyone, everywhere by 2030.  Clean water and decent toilets can change the lives of those most affected by a lack of access: girls.

Volunteers will be attending the festival, held at Tubby's Farm in Hillsborough, from Friday 22-Monday 25 August, to encourage festival goers to be part of the change and sign the 'Change the Record' petition.

The WaterAid stand will be located in the Lighthouse Bliss Zone, and alongside the petition, will be offering revellers the chance to have a go at 'poopla', a game aimed at highlighting the importance of taps and toilets across the globe.
