Pipelaying works Warren Gardens Lisburn
24 February 2025 10:22
Our contractor BSG-Phace is due to commence work tomorrow (Tuesday 25th Feb) to install a new stormwater sewer on a section of Warren Gardens in Lisburn.
The new pipe – which will be laid between Ward Avenue and Jubilee Avenue – will remove storm (rain) water from this part of the combined wastewater system to help reduce the risk of out-of-sewer flooding in the area and provide increased capacity in the network.
To carry out the work in the safest possible manner, a lane closure will be in place on Warren Gardens between Ward Avenue and Jubilee Avenue. Traffic lights will be in place to manage the flow of traffic, however we would advise motorists to allow extra time for journeys while this work is ongoing. Work is expected to take around 3 weeks to complete.
NI Water and our project team from AtkinsRéalis and BSG-Phace thank residents, businesses and the wider public for their patience and cooperation while we undertake this essential work to deliver environmental improvements and help support new development. The team will strive to keep disruption to a minimum and complete the work in the shortest possible timeframe.
