One-way road closure on Shore Road Sunday 20th October to facilitate sewer relining
Weather permitting, our contractor Dawson WAM will implement a one-way closure city-bound on Shore Road, Belfast at Fortwilliam Park from 6am on Sunday 20th October to facilitate sewer relining work in the vicinity of McDonalds.
The work requires dry conditions and is expected to complete late on Sunday 20th October.
During this time vehicular access to McDonalds and all other businesses on Shore Road, between the city centre and McDonalds, will be available in a country-bound direction only. For safety reasons, the footpath in front of McDonalds will need to be closed.
All bus stops city-bound between Fortwilliam Park and Nelson Street will not be accessible while work is ongoing. Signage to notify road users is in place and a diversion route for motorists will be clearly signposted.
Our project team thanks local businesses, residents and commuters for their patience while we undertake this essential work which forms part of a wider programme of sewer improvements being carried out in the Shore Road area. We will keep disruption to a minimum and complete each section of work in the shortest possible timeframe.
