Important traffic info for Meadow Lane area

Our contractor BSG is working to reopen Meadow Lane and Portmore Street in Portadown tomorrow morning before the next major connection gets underway in the vicinity of Meadow Lane East Car Park.
To facilitate this next connection there will be no left turn from Meadow Lane onto the access road past Meadow Lane East Car Park from Thursday 3rd October for around two weeks. Some pedestrian management will be required in the area too. Meadow Lane East Car Park will remain open during the work with a small section of the car park fenced off to complete the connection.
Access to Meadow Lane East Car Park should be taken via Tesco/McDonalds Car Park while this work is ongoing.
To help maintain traffic flow on Meadow Lane in the vicinity of the Meadows Shopping Centre, there will also be no left turn from the access road at Meadow Lane East Car Park onto Meadow Lane.
Signage will be in place and BSG will make every effort to complete the work as quickly as possible. We thank the public for their patience.
