Supply Interruption Affecting Customers in the Ardstraw /Newton Stewart Area – BT 79, 82, 84

NI Water were made of aware of a burst water main in the early hours of Saturday 4 May affecting approx. 600 households.

Teams were dispatched to the area immediately to affect the repair and return customers to supply as soon as possible.

Due to the nature and location of the burst, the repair proved extremely difficult and has failed multiple times following repair.

Additional crews were sent to help with the repair which has now been completed as of lunch time of Sunday 5th. Crews remain onsite to monitor the situation and attend to any further issues.

Customers will be resupplied through the afternoon and early evening as the main recharges.
