NI Water Receive Leadership Award at Prestigious Awards Ceremony

NI Water received a surprise Merit Award in Leadership at the 2019/20 prestigious Government Opportunities (GO) Public Procurement Awards. 

The NI Water team were recognised for their work on ‘The Commercial Excellence Portfolio;’ as one of the six business change portfolios created by NI Water which has been established to deliver £17m annual opex and £17m annual capex efficiencies by the end of March 2021.

Jane Mellor, Head of Operational Procurement said, “The GO Awards Northern Ireland truly are the ‘Oscars’ of public procurement. We are delighted to receive this Merit by the judges for going that extra mile which brings our innovative approaches to the fore. Our success at last year’s GO Awards, in addition to this year, further highlights our role and commitment in helping to make real differences to the quality of public services in Northern Ireland.
