Public Information Session - Benone Sewer Network Improvements

NI Water is due to commence a £2.1 million sewerage network improvement scheme, which will involve work to benefit local caravan parks and tourist complexes in the Benone area.

NI Water will host a “Drop In” Public Information Session on Thursday 27 September 4-7pm at Benone Tourist Complex, 53 Benone Avenue, Limavady,BT49 0LQ. Members of the public are encouraged to come along and find out more information on this project and everyone is welcome to drop in at any stage between 4pm and 7pm.

The scheme - which will involve the replacement of some of the existing vacuum system with new wastewater pumping stations, pumping mains and sewers is anticipated to get underway in November 2018. The work will largely take place during the autumn/winter months over the next two years to reduce disruption during the busy tourist season.
