The area supplied by Poleglass Service Reservoir (i.e. parts of West Belfast and Lisburn) may experience a stronger Chlorine taste than normal over the next few days. This is due to an increased level of Chlorine added over the weekend.

Although it may smell/taste stronger than usual, Chlorine levels are within the permitted levels and, as such, the water is perfectly safe for consumption.

Dosing levels have now been reduced, and the effects will subside in a couple of days.
