NI Water Chair welcomes new Non Executive Directors

NI Water Chairman Mr Sean Hogan has welcomed the announcement by DRD Minister Danny Kennedy on the appointment of the new Non Executive Directors to serve on the Board of the company.

Mr Hogan said: “In taking this opportunity to welcome the newly appointed Non Executive Directors I would also like to pay tribute to the work of the outgoing interim board members.

“I am confident that our new board, with its great depth and breadth of experience, will continue with that work.

“Whilst many challenges lie ahead in the current climate, NI Water has shown it is determined to embed lessons learned from recent incidents and seek to continuously improve its customer service. I know that we will be supported in that by all staff and particularly our workforce on the ground who work round the clock providing a service to the public.

“As well as facing up to those challenges we will also seek to build on the achievements that have already been delivered such as the highest drinking water quality and wastewater compliance ever recorded in Northern Ireland.”
