Here’s what you can expect:

Real-world Experience: You’ll learn how to operate, maintain, and manage the essential equipment used to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of wastewater assets across Northern Ireland. No two days will be the same!

Comprehensive Training: Our Fast-Track Learning for Operational Wastewater Programme offers 6 to 12 months of in-depth training, providing you with the skills and knowledge to excel. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  1. One year’s relevant experience (for example, operational or maintenance work within the utility sector; construction industry; manufacturing; farming; wastewater or water networks experience).
  2. Candidates will be required to undertake competency-based tests within a computer based assessment. These tests will assess candidates’ essential skills, literacy, numeracy and spatial awareness.
  3. Have the right to live and work in the UK.
  4. Have a current valid driving licence which will enable you to fulfil your responsibilities.
  5. Have a permanent residence within the 30 miles travelling distance by public road to one of the NI Water locations specified in the area you are applying for.
